Joey Fatone Says NSYNC Reunion Tour Is Coming 'Hopefully Freaking Soon' (Exclusive)
Ever since NSYNC announced their "hiatus" in 2002, fans have been asking if and when the iconic boy band would reunite. Now, more than 20 years later, it appears the answer is soon.
In a recent interview with Parade timed to his Broadway return in & Juliet, NSYNC member Joey Fatone said that he hoped to have details about a possible reunion "hopefully freaking soon."

When asked if he had news to share, Fatone said, "I wish. That sounds great. It would sound fabulous for me, but I have absolutely no idea until we have a conversation. People have been asking me when that conversation is. It's hopefully freaking soon. Honestly, after I'm done on March 16, maybe we sit down and have a conversation. Because it's getting to the point where it's like, listen, either we're doing it or we're not."
NSYNC has reunited several times in the last few years with Fatone joining JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick and Justin Timberlake at a Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in 2018. Then in 2023, they reunited again at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. Later that year, they recorded a new song, "Better Place," for Trolls Band Together. In 2024, they performed together again at Timberlake's One Night Only concert in Los Angeles, debuting the new song "Paradise," which appeared on Timberlake's album Everything I Thought It Was. The band members seem on good terms and ready to collaborate again. The question remains: how?

It's a question that Fatone is pondering. "What does it look like?" he mused about the reunion. "Is it a tour and music? Is it just a tour or is it just music or is it something other? I don't know. We don't know, and that's a fun thing about all of us. We have so many ideas. We don't know what's gonna stick or what's gonna work yet, and we don't even know if we're gonna do it or not. That's the problem. So it's like, let's throw it on the wall, see what sticks. Me? I want to have fun.
Fatone also admitted that there are some nerves involved with a reunion. "I think everybody's nervous a little bit about doing it, just because a lot of pressure might be on us."
As for Fatone, though, he just wants to get the ball rolling. "Let's just do what we do best. That's it. Let it speak for itself."
