Here's The Details On Jodie Turner-Smith's Reported Claim That Joshua Jackson Hasn't Been Paying Child Support
You might remember that Jodie Turner-Smith filed for divorce from Joshua Jackson last October.
The couple first met in 2018 and got married the following year. They also share one child, four-year-old Juno, together.
Now, People reports that Jodie has claimed in a legal filing that Joshua hasn't paid child support since the pair first split last year.
In the filing, Jodie reportedly claims that she cared for Juno while Joshua "continued to advance in his acting career," and that he is "reneging" on a prior promise to financially support her in the event that they separated.
"Josh promised to always support me and ensured me that I would not have to worry about financial security for our daughter if we ever separated because he said he understood how difficult life can be as a Black woman and a single mother," Jodie reportedly alleges in the filing.
According to People, Jodie is requesting $8,543 per month since October 2023 in retroactive child support from Joshua, as well as $28,641 per month of spousal support in the same time frame. She's also requesting $250,000 in fees to her attorney and forensic accountant.
