Ben Affleck's Christmas Gift for Jennifer Lopez Was Seriously Thoughtful

Despite going through a divorce, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck still exchanged presents this holiday season. Call it a Christmas miracle, if you will. 

According to Page Six, Affleck put some serious thought into J.Lo's present and purchased her "an autographed Marlon Brando book" from Mystery Pier Books in Los Angeles. The store's owner told the outlet that the actor bought "a few books" before heading to meet his soon-to-be ex-wife for lunch at Soho House. 

“Ben gifted Jennifer with the book because she’s a fan, plus her Super Bowl bodysuit was inspired by Marlon Brando,” a source said of Affleck's sweet gesture. “The gifts were mostly for each other’s kids, but they did exchange a few small things for each other as well."

The insider added, “It was nothing over the top, but more so a gesture to celebrate the holidays. Ben and Jennifer have remained amicable despite the ongoing divorce proceedings.”

News of the former couple's gift exchange comes just days after it was reported that the two can't fully quit each other. “They have every intention of continuing to be in each other’s lives despite not being romantically involved,” another source explained to Page Six. “Ben and Jennifer are still connected and they do communicate when it involves their kids.”

As for Christmas Day itself, Affleck celebrated with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner and their three children–Violet, 19, Fin, 15, and 12-year-old Samuel. People previously reported that the kids asked for their parents to spend the holiday together and they agreed. "Jen truly just wants her kids to be happy. She will continue to make sure that they spend time together as a family and include Ben," a source previously shared. 

"They have Christmas plans with the kids, too," they continued. "The kids enjoy when they all spend time together."
