Sofia Vergara is poking fun at Jodie Foster’s 2025 Golden Globes win.

As Foster, 62, accepted the prize for her lead performance in the hit HBO series True Detective: Night Country, she received several tongue-in-cheek comments from her fellow nominee — who had just lost her fifth straight Golden Globe.

“No, no!” Vergara, 52, could be heard shouting from the audience right before Foster started her acceptance speech. “Give me one!”

But Foster took it in stride — even shouting out Vergara in her acceptance speech: "The greatest thing about being this age and being in this time is having a community of all these people, especially you, Sofia," said Foster.

The duo of actresses have had a playful rivalry after the Modern Family actress lost her Griselda Emmy nomination to Foster last year. Shortly after the award was announced, Vergara posted a video to Instagram, where she can be heard saying “me lo robaron” — or “they stole it from me” in English — adding that it was her fifth straight Emmy loss.

Later in the night, she also shared a video of taking a snack break while still in her stunning red gown, which she captioned, “I didnt get an Emmy but I got a hamburger 😂.”

Night Country — the fourth season of the anthology series True Detective — follows a detective (played by Foster) and her investigation of the disappearance of eight men in a remote Alaskan town. It earned the Silence of the Lambs actress her first Emmy win.

Netflix’s Griselda finds Vergara in a role like she’s never played: an infamous drug lord. After she received an Emmy nomination for her performance, she admitted in a statement that she “never dreamed that after Modern Family I would be able to work on something as special as Griselda."

“Wow. Griselda was my first dramatic role ever, and it took us 15 years to bring her to life. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who was a part of this series,” added the star.
