Jock Zonfrillo's wife shares 'treasured' memories of late MasterChef star
"It seems like the whole world misses Jock."
The wife of late MasterChef star Jock Zonfrillo has shared a new video with his followers on Instagram, showing the couple and their young kids enjoying an Italian holiday a year ago.
The series of memories shows Jock being a doting dad to his two youngest kids, and smiling happily with wife Lauren Fried, as they enjoyed a family getaway.
"One year ago today in Italy, in search of the best bowl of alla Nerano," the Instagram gallery was captioned.
Fans of the celebrity chef were quick to flood the Instagram comments, thanking Lauren for sharing the precious memories.
"How generous of you to share such personal treasured memories. It seems like the whole world misses Jock," one person said.
"Thank you for sharing your lovely memories with us all. Thinking of you and your beautiful lil ones," another said.
"This hurts my heart. Sending all my love," another commented.
"Loz I still can’t believe we won’t see him on our screens anymore. I can’t even begin to imagine what it’s like for you and your little family. I pray one day you’ll heal from your agonising hurt," another said.
MasterChef judge Andy Allen also left a comment.
"Just one bowl???" he said, ending his comment with a love heart.

Earlier in August, Lauren uploaded a video of Jock for his birthday, posting a moving tribute to the late star.
"Happy birthday my love. Some moments from your birthdays together, never more special than today. Today the kids and I are together; spending time with you, watering your grass, singing you songs, still not grasping what forever is like without you in it," she captioned the video.
"You eclipsed our family with your chaos and fun, and we are trying to find our new true north. I’m grateful that we are finding moments of joy in our smaller family, knowing that you are forever my husband, forever their Dad/Papa, forever a part of all of us."
The world was rocked by the shock death of Jock Zonfrillo earlier this year, with the chef found dead at 2am in Melbourne on May 1, after police received a call requesting a “welfare check”.
The MasterChef Season 15 premiere was delayed for a short time, before the network and Jock's family confirmed his final season would air in tribute to him.
Last month, MasterChef commemorated Jock's last-ever episode with a moving tribute to the star.
Jock is survived by his third wife, Lauren Fried, and his four children, Alfie, Isla, Ava and Sophie.
