"Never thought I'd lose you at 22."

Taking to TikTok, Ava shared a video, which included photos from milestone moments and short clips of her, Jock and her younger brother Alfie.

"Never thought I'd lose you at 22," she captioned the video.

"Life is unfair," Ava also wrote on the video, adding, "I miss you dad."

In one video, Jock says to Ava, "We love you Ava, we miss you!" Alfie also sweetly repeats the message.

Many TikTok users shared words of support, writing, "So sorry for your loss Ava, Jock was and will always be my favourite Chef on MasterChef. A true gentleman and an all-around wonderful man."

"Oh, sweetheart, it's so cruel and unfair that you had to lose him so young," another said. "You're going to live an amazing life that would make him proud."

"So sorry darling girl," a third wrote. "Words just cannot console your pain, yet his love will guide and strengthen you throughout your life."

"I am SO sorry for your loss beautiful girl," someone else added. "As someone [who] looked up to your dad, hearing about his death absolute broke me."

"This news rocked me when I heard," another said. "I am so so sorry for your loss."

The Glasgow-born star was found dead at 2am in Melbourne on May 1, after police received a call requesting a “welfare check”.
