These days, not all celebrity-fan interactions are—well—all that wholesome. Take Chappell Roan's experience with some of her intrusive fans for instance. Maybe that's why Jessica Simpson's latest fan interaction seems so sweet.

On a recent Delta Airlines flight, the singer was given a touching note tucked into her snack tray from one of the flight attendants. The singer shared a picture of the cute message on her Instagram Stories, writing, "Kindness rules."

The message read, “Jess, Just wanted to thank you for traveling with us. We appreciate, love and support you. Continue to be a blessing and continue to be blessed." The note was signed, “Your LAX crew.”

In addition to sharing this example of a respectful fan interaction, Simpson also recently shared some more positive news: She has officially been alcohol-free for seven years.

"7yrs ago today I walked myself into the light of being alcohol free 🤍," she wrote in an Instagram post last week, alongside a selfie taken on another flight.

Earlier this year, Simpson responded to an Instagram commenter who claimed she was drinking in one of her posts.

“I haven’t wanted or touched alcohol since October 2017 and it has been the best decision I’ve made for myself and for my family,” she wrote in response. “Thank you for your concern, but you have me very misunderstood. Sending love your way.”

Recently, it seems that Simpson has been dedicating a lot of time to her two daughters, Maxwell Drew, 12, and Birdie Mae, 5, and son, Ace Knute, 11, whom she shares with husband, Eric Johnson. In August, the singer shared a cute selfie with Byrdie, writing, “Me and My Birdie My Birdie and Me." In another selfie posted to Instagram that month, Simpson cuddled her two daughters as they all supported Ace at a basketball game.
