Jess Power's rumoured reality TV return

Jessika Power hasn’t stopped making headlines from the moment she first strutted onto Married at First Sight, and she may not be walking away from the limelight just yet.

The 26-year-old, who made a name for herself with her scandalous couple-swapping, may be backing up her stint with an appearance on a second show this year, rumour has it.

Reports are circulating that Jess is tipped to be a contestant on the upcoming season of Love Island, but she’s staying coy on the subject.

“I am flattered, but my hunt for love right now is on hold as I’m hurt,” she told New Idea.

She added, however, that it’s not something she would rule out – and there’s still time for her heart to mend ahead of the upcoming season.

“If the opportunity is still there in the future it may be something I will consider.”

If one thing’s for sure, it’s that that in reality television the future is elastic, so it’s not unlikely the MAFS alumni will recover in time for a trip to the island.

Having personally completed the Love Island application form, I can testify that the arduous process will pose some challenges for Jess, but that ultimately she would make a compelling candidate.

The latest development follows on the heels of claims she cheated on Dan Webb with Telv Williams for the show’s fifth season.

Woman’s Day also reported Jess and Telv had been spotted wining and dining in Perth.

“We recognised Telv straight away and just assumed she was his new girlfriend,” a witness told the magazine.

“They were giggling and laughing the whole night. You could tell he really fancied her.”

Telv claims the illicit hook-up happened, though he says he was unaware of the pair’s status at the time.

Footage also emerged of the pair drinking into the early hours, after the cheating rumours first began to circulate.

Jess has maintained she never cheated on Dan throughout the accusations.

Jess has also come under fire for a video in which she appears to be driving under the influence of alcohol, though she has since denied that she was intoxicated at the wheel.
