Rita Ora just showed up at the 2024 Met Gala basically naked in an open-sided dress

Rita Ora is at the Met Gala and she understood the assignment! The singer and all-around icon arrived in a nearly naked Marni look consisting of a nude bodysuit with a beaded piece draped over the top.

“I’m wearing a necklace this year at the MET,” she told Entertainment Tonight, referring to the shimmering multicoloured beads that were strung together to create the overlay that fell down her torso and back, all the way to the floor. The resulting effect was that of a completely open-sided dress, with Rita going braless *and* commando beneath in one of the most revealing naked looks of the evening.

Rita took to Instagram to share more info about her 10th (!!) Met Gala look. She wrote in her caption, "It is composed of one of a kind antique glass beads from all over the world, highlighting one of humankind’s most ancient crafted objects and paired together with antique handmade glass beads from Murano ranging between the 40’s all through to the 70’s."

Back in ye olden days of 2021, Rita spoke to Fashion Week Daily about her style icons, saying, “Cher, Madonna, Diana Ross, and Gwen Stefani have all been huge inspirations in my life. They’re such powerful women who all have a unique point of view when it comes to fashion. Kate Moss is another style icon of mine; she is the epitome of British fashion.”

She took an extra moment to shout out Madonna, saying, “Madonna’s whole existence! She is such a badass. When I was younger, I was into making my own outfits and I would go digging in flea markets to find the perfect pieces. That’s probably my earliest fashion memory.”

She also chatted about the inspiration vintage, specifically the 1960s, has on her style (which comes through here, IMO!), saying, “There was so much variety during that era and so many iconic fashion moments. From Diana Ross and the Supremes to Twiggy and Jackie O, that decade had it all.”

Welp. As usual, she’s an icon, she’s a legend, and she IS the moment.
