Jennifer Love Hewitt's Rare Photo of Her Husband Honors an 11-Year Milestone
And it includes a holiday-ready detail.
Jennifer Love Hewitt and her husband, Brian Hallisay, are still going strong—and they want the world to know it.
On Instagram, the Ghost Whisperer actress shared a rare photo of her and Hallisay making silly faces towards a camera for a holiday-themed photo booth picture. In the snap—which featured a border that read "holiday vibes"—Hewitt was on trend for the holiday season in a black velvet long sleeve dress with crystal encrusted bow details, while Hallisay matched her in a dark gray suit jacket and black button up shirt.
"This is us. 11 years married! I’m so grateful we had a little date today to celebrate," Hewitt captioned the image. "I always confuse our actual date by one day and you love me for it. Happy Anniversary my love. Love you always and forever."
Updates on Hewitt's marriage are uncommon, but the actress shared another holiday-themed post back in October and gushed about starring in her forthcoming Lifetime Christmas movie, The Holiday Junkie, alongside her husband. "I finally made a Christmas movie. I got to direct it. It was written by one of my best friends. @anna.s.white It honors my mom. I got to fall in love on and off camera with my husband who will also be the man of your dreams after you see this movie," she wrote, cheekily adding, "But play it cool ladies. He is mine."
Hewitt and Hallisay met in 2012 after both starring in The Client List. The couple began dating in 2012, and married on November 20, 2013, ahead of the birth of their daughter, Autumn James. Hewitt and Hallisay later welcomed their first son, Atticus James, in 2015, and their second son, Aidan James, in 2021. With the holidays around the corner, it's gearing up to be an exciting time for the family of five.
"We’re all feeling really hopeful and joyful for this time. That’s our vibe this year," Hewitt told New Beauty of how she plans to get in the holiday spirit with Hallisay and their kids. "Our traditions are mainly the tree. We do it the same way every year. My husband Brian does the lights by himself because that part is frustrating. But we create vibes all around him while he’s doing it. Then, we join together as a family for the ornaments. At the end, the kids toast in fancy glasses with Martinelli’s and Brian makes his famous Christmas cocktail for us. On the first night, we have a “cheers,” sit back and enjoy our tree."
