Jennifer Lopez Celebrates “Unstoppable” Becoming No. 1 Movie on Prime Video: 'Thanks to Everyone'
Lopez costars with Jharrel Jerome, Don Cheadle and Bobby Cannavale in 'Unstoppable,' streaming on Prime Video now
Jennifer Lopez has reason to celebrate.
On Monday, Jan. 20, Lopez, 55, took to her Instagram Stories to celebrate Prime Video's announcement that her wrestling drama Unstoppable took the top spot among all movie streaming worldwide on Amazon's streaming service, according to a grab of the post captured by Yahoo! Entertainment.
"Thank you to everyone for watching, especially my incredible fans 🤍✨," Lopez wrote in a caption to the post. She tagged her costar Jharrel Jerome, as well as the film's subject Anthony Robles and her ex Ben Affleck's company Artists Equity, which produced the movie.
Unstoppable follows the real-life story of Robles, a wrestler who was born with only one leg and won the 2011 NCAA wrestling championship in the 125-lb. weight class while competing at Arizona State University. The film is an adaptation of Robles' 2013 memoir of the same name; Lopez portrays his mother, Judy, while Jerome, 27, portrays Robles.
Unstoppable also features Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña and Don Cheadle in key roles. The movie made its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2024. As of Tuesday, Jan. 21, Prime Video listed Unstoppable at No. 3 among its top 10 most popular films in the U.S.
The film is one of multiple movies Affleck and Matt Damon's company Artists Equity produced before Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August, ending the former couple's two years-long marriage. Lopez and Affleck finalized their divorce on Jan. 6. A second film Lopez starred in that Artists Equity produced, titled Kiss of the Spider Woman, will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival later this month.

Lopez additionally shared an Instagram post about Unstoppable's message of resilience on Saturday, Jan. 18, along with a short video highlighting the efforts of a young student athlete who plays softball with a mechanical leg.
"Anthony Robles’ Unstoppable true story of resilience and overcoming obstacles is something that I believe may inspire many people," Lopez wrote in a caption to that post. "I’ve done a lot of movies in my career and I’m extremely proud to have been part of bringing this one to life. Here’s one of the #UnstoppableStories that moves me, and I hope it inspires you too. Sending hope and love to all 🙏,"
Unstoppable is streaming on Prime Video now.
