An old photo of Jennifer Hawkins has left fans baffled after Instagram account Celeb Spellcheck shared the snap of the former Miss Universe walking the catwalk in 2002. The photo is the oldest one available of Jennifer on Getty, and the account's followers were shocked by how much the model had changed over the years.

In the photo, Jennifer is modelling for Expozay Swim, one of Elle Macpherson's brands, in Circular Quay and wears a 'tankini', a sheer, red scarf, stilettos and sunglasses that look like they could be upside down. Most bizarrely, she is also holding a bag with a small dog in it.

"Happy Australian Fashion Week," the caption read.

"ICONIC!!!" one user wrote, while another added, "Her glasses look upside down. What a time."

"The dog is the real star," a third quipped.

"When you order Paris Hilton on Wish," someone else joked.

Many people also referenced the audience members, with the whole scene looking very odd, one user wrote, "This photo is giving ‘people at a work conference and @jenhawkins_ has entered the wrong room whilst on vacation with her dog’."

"Where do I look? The scarf? The glasses? The dog in the bag? There’s a lot going on here," someone else questioned.

"I literally thought this was Sarah Michelle Gellar at first glance," one confused user wrote, while another added, "Oh thought it was Britney Spears."

Others said that the model "looks so different", while many wrote that they believed Jen has had several cosmetic procedures, such as lip filler and veneers.

"God look at her face, completely unrecognisable pre-surgery," one user said.

Jennifer previously told The Australian Women's Weekly in 2014, "When someone says 'under the knife' I don't have a reaction."

"Everyone in the industry gets that. That's fine. I'm cool with that. I'm cool with people having an opinion, but as I said, I am happy with who I am as a person and really just want to live my life."

She's also previously told The Daily Telegraph it's a personal choice to get plastic surgery, saying, "Each to their own!"
