Jenna Bush Hager Reacts After Her 'Thirst Trap' Is a Clue on “Pop Culture Jeopardy!”: 'Never Made My Parents More Proud'
The 'Today' co-host had to define a "thirst trap" after her seductive photo shoot from 2022 became a part of the quiz show fronted by Colin Jost
Jenna Bush Hager’s thirst trap is one to remember.
Back in 2022, the Today host showed a new side of herself to fans when she celebrated Hoda & Jenna reaching one million followers on Instagram with a sexy photo shoot on set.
The images showed Bush Hager, 43, giving her best smize with her blonde locks flowing in the wind (courtesy of her co-host Hoda Kotb and her handy blowdryer).
After two years, the photos resurfaced on a recent episode of Pop Culture Jeopardy! in the form of this hilarious clue: “With the help of Hoda Kotb and a hairdryer, this ‘Today Show’ book guru posted a thirst trap to celebrate 1 million followers.”
"All I have to say is I’ve never made my parents more proud," Bush Hager, whose parents are former President George W. Bush and former first lady Laura Bush, joked on Today on Thursday, Jan. 14. "That’s the Jeopardy! clue I get? Jeeze!"
Carson Daly admitted that he "didn’t even know what a thirst trap is," prompting Bush Hager to tell everyone in the room, also including Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin, and Al Roker, what the trend is all about.
“I’ll tell you what a thirst trap is," she said. "A thirst trap is, you know, you go on Instagram and there’s the people who are kind of sexy and dressed inappropriately and they’re trying to get the attention of somebody.”

In addition to her being the talk of Jeopardy, Bush Hager has also been the talk of television with the debut of Today with Jenna & Friends.
On her new daytime segment, the seasoned host will bring on various celebrity guests, including Scarlett Johansson, who will join the fourth hour of Today for a week beginning Jan. 21.
Following Kotb’s departure from the show and NBC on Jan. 10, Bush Hager told PEOPLE that the thought of her not sitting beside her was “almost too much to bear.”
However, on her first episode, co-hosted with Taraji P. Henson, Bush Hager took her new gig in stride, joking that finding a replacement was almost like being in the dating pool all over again.
“I haven't dated, and this is kind of my dating era, and you're my first date," Bush Hager quipped.
