Yahoo Lifestyle Are Jen Affleck and Zac Affleck Still Together? An Investigation (+ What She's Said!)
Please put on your most ominous choir music and gather round for an investigation into The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Today's subject: Jen Affleck and Zac Affleck, man who is apparently not related in anyway to Ben Affleck.
These two have been the subject of a lot of side-eyes due to how their marriage played out TSLOMW. But quick reminder: Zac totally spiraled when Jen went to a Chippendales show in Vegas, threatening to end their relationship. Jen's castmates voiced a lot of concern about his controlling behavior, but the season ended with Jen following her husband to NYC for his career in medicine.
Cut to now, and we have a couple updates: 1) Jen is confirmed to be returning for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season Two...which is presumably filming in Utah. 2) She's been spotted without her engagement ring.
Comedian (who everyone should be following) Chris Burns actually brought this to our attention on Instagram, noting that on September 24 Jen was in New York City with her engagement ring on her finger. Buuuut she hopped on TikTok today to drop a video of herself seemingly in Utah (at least based on this giant house) without said ring.
So, what has Jen said about where things stand with Zac? Back in early September, she told Us Weekly “I definitely think it was the best thing to happen to our relationship. While watching the show, a lot of people are going to think that maybe this would break our relationship apart. But if anything, it did the opposite. Being on camera and having those moments happen made us take a step back and actually look at a relationship and make us just see what we have to change.”
Hmmm. Lots to think about!
