"My name is Jazz, and I am transgender," the 24-year-old I Am Jazz star began, speaking directly to the camera.

"At an early age, as soon as I could express myself, I made it clear I was a girl," she continued. "Guided by medical professionals, I began my social transition at age 5. At age 11, gender-affirming care helped me avoid developing secondary male characteristics. And when I was 17-and-a-half, I got my bottom surgery."

In the next frame of the clip, Jennings was surrounded by her brothers, sister and parents.

"Today people call my family abusive but does this look abusive?" she asked.

Jennings praised her brother, Sander, for being a "fierce social media ally" and her "incredible protective father" for always fighting for her rights.

"My brother Griffen has taken on pro bono LGBTQ+ cases," Jennings said, adding that her "sister Ari does LGBTQ+ research." She also called her mother her "greatest supporter and rock."

"My story is proof of unconditional love and the power of family," Jennings said in conclusion. "Trans people need your support and deserve all the basic human rights you have. Don't listen to what you hear in the media. Get to know trans people."
