Jason Kelce Offers Clarity on Deleted Super Bowl Post After 'Bullying' From Taylor Swift Fans

After a day's worth of speculation surrounding a deleted social media post from Jason and Travis Kelce's New Heights podcast, the older Kelce brother is setting the record straight.

After the Philadelphia Eagles, the team Jason recently retired from, reigned victorious over Travis' Kansas City Chiefs at Super Bowl LIX, production members of the brothers' sportscast shared a compilation of team photos on X to send their "Congrats to all our Birds fan 92%ers and Jason's Eagles teammates on an incredible season."

However, word on the street is that the sweet nod drew the ire of a number of Chiefs fans—namely, Taylor Swift fans who converted to KC fans after the singer began dating the tight end—for highlighting Jason's former team's big win amid Travis' loss.

Jason never addressed those rumors directly, instead replying to another fan simply noting that it was "very strange" that the celebratory tweet had disappeared, explaining that he had requested the graphic to be removed because he felt that there were "too many pictures of [him]" included.

"I wanted the post to be reflective of the guys who just won, not me," he continued. "I didn’t win shit in this one, it felt weird to congratulate this team with a bunch of pictures of me."

While commentary from a portion of Swift's fanbase may not actually be to blame, other fans still slammed those "beyond insufferable" comments before Jason addressed the controversy.

"absolutely insane behavior and it’s embarrassing to be in the same fandom with people that act like that," someone wrote, suggesting that some of their fellow Swifties needed to "go outside, touch some grass, and learn how to have some...decorum."

"are you not ashamed?!" they added.

"The 'Swifties' who sent hate...should be ashamed of themselves," another fan agreed, calling it "bullying behavior and...embarrassing."

"be so...[for real] and go listen to but daddy i love him again until the message clicks," another suggested to the "newfound football fans who don’t understand loyalty to your team."

"new heights not being able to post anything positive about the eagles because swifties took it as a personal attack against travis is hilarious y’all are so...embarrassing," someone else addressed the rumor.
