James Norton, Paddy Considine and Pip Torrens Join Guy Ritchie’s ‘Wife & Dog’ for Black Bear

A trio of U.K. stars have joined Guy Richie’s “Wife & Dog,” rounding out the cast of the director’s next adventure into the colourful and backstabbing world of the British upper classes (which he recently explored in “The Gentleman” film and TV series).

James Norton (“Joy,” “Bob Marley: One Love”), Paddy Considine (“House of the Dragon,” “Peaky Blinders”) and Pip Torrens (“The Crown,” “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”) will star in the feature, now in production, joining the previously announced Cosmo Jarvis, Benedict Cumberbatch, Rosamund Pike and Anthony Hopkins.

“Wife & Dog” — first announced by Variety — was written by Ritchie, who also produces alongside long-time producing partner, Ivan Atkinson (“The Gentlemen,” “Wrath of Man”) and Black Bear’s John Friedberg (“The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare,” “Ferrari”). Executive producers include Teddy Schwarzman and Michael Heimler for Black Bear, and Louise Killin. Black Bear launched sales on the title in Cannes last year, and the film marks the company’s third collaboration with Ritchie and Atkinson following “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” and “In the Grey.”

The film is part of Black Bear’s EFM slate, alongside other titles including Leslie Mann and Isla Fisher comedy “Spa Weekend,” from the Bad Moms filmmaking team; Leo Woodall and Dustin Hoffman heist thriller, “Tuner”; Joseph Gordon-Levitt genre film “Pendulum” from “Black Swan” writer, Mark Heyman; David Michôd’s untitled Christy Martin film starring Sydney Sweeney as the champion boxer; and Gregg Araki’s provocative thriller, “I Want Your Sex,” starring Olivia Wilde.

Norton is represented by WME, The Artists Partnership, and Tapestry London. Considine is represented by CAA, Independent Talent Group, and Tapestry London. Torrens is represented by Independent Talent Group.
