Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has revealed that she was once paid $500,000 for a gig that was outside of her successful career in radio.
“I would say probably the highest paid would be half a million,” she replied after initially trying to evade the question.
While she wouldn’t reveal what she had to do to earn the impressive salary, Jackie admitted it was “a very easy job”.
She also insisted that it wasn’t a brand deal on social media, and she doesn’t actually like advertising products on Instagram because it’s not her “thing”.
Outside of her radio career, Jackie has hosted a number of TV shows including Popstars, Australian Princess, Surprise Surprise Gotcha and Big Brother.
She also hosted the first three seasons of The Masked Singer from 2019 to 2021 and signed a deal with WW (Weight Watchers) last year which saw her lose 10kg in just a few months.
Meanwhile, Kyle revealed that his highest paying gig outside of radio was when he was a judge on Australian Idol.
“That was a million dollars for three months' work,” he shared. “And not every day, I mean like a few auditions and then one live show a week. So easy! So much money for nothing.”
Elsewhere in the interview, the on-air duo were asked how much money they would have to be offered to leave their radio show for another network.
“For $10 million a year I think I would consider going to work for Nova or someone I suppose, maybe,” he responded. “I like it here though.”
“I was thinking higher if I’m honest,” Jackie laughed, to which a shocked Kyle replied, “You’re really loyal to this company!”
