Intimate details on JLo and Ben Affleck's secret wedding: 'They cried'
New details have emerged about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s surprise wedding, with a chapel insider sharing an inside look at the ceremony.
Kenosha Portis, the chapel coordinator for A Little White Wedding Chapel, described the ceremony as ‘emotional’ and revealed that the pair ‘cried’ after exchanging vows.
Speaking to GMA on Tuesday, Portis spilled that the chapel was buzzing with excitement when the celebrity couple arrived.
“It was so exciting, I mean we were getting ready to close and we had a special guest arrive as a walk-in.
“I started shaking a little bit, you know, I’m like, ‘Oh my God, this is Jennifer Lopez we are getting ready to marry!’” she gushed.
Portis described the pair as emotional and affectionate during the 10-minute ceremony at the chapel.

“As they were reading each other vows, they were very sweet, they both were emotional. They cried to each other. The kids were right there behind them.
“She had on a nice, elegant, beige lacy type dress. It had a train on it. The veil was beautiful.
“Everything was very sleek and beautiful, she was stunning. She had a beautiful bouquet, white bouquet, that she had, and he had a boutonniere as well that matched that.”
People also reported that the Marry Me actress walked down the aisle to ‘Here Comes The Bride’ before the couple exchanged vows and simple wedding bands.
Jennifer donned two outfits on her wedding day, one being a white off-the-shoulder frock by Zuhair Murad, and a second dress that she saved from ‘an old movie’.
The star showed off her Alexander McQueen gown in the On the JLo newsletter sent to fans, saying that she had been ‘saving it’, before adding that she was now wearing it on her ‘wedding day’.
The publication also claims that Ben and Jennifer are planning to host another celebration in the future, with a source saying: “They plan on having a bigger party so they can celebrate with family and friends.”

The pair made headlines when they rekindled their relationship last year, almost 20 years after splitting up in 2004.
The Hustlers star confirmed their second engagement in April 2022.
JLo and Ben were first engaged in 2002 after meeting on the set of their film Gigli, while the singer was still married to her second husband Cris Judd.
And in a resurfaced clip from when they were first engaged around 20 years ago, Jennifer shared that she would be changing her name to Jennifer Affleck.

"Jennifer Lopez, but my name will be Jennifer Affleck, obviously," she tells him, explaining her maiden name will still be used as her stage name, but she'll take Ben's last name as her legal name.
"So what will your stationary say?" he asked, with the singer quickly responding, "Jennifer Affleck."
The pair then joked that the singer's nickname would be "J.Aff", with JLo joking, "It doesn't have quite the same ring to it!"
