Jennifer Lopez flashes her green engagement ring as she puckers up for the camera
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's engagement is sealed with a kiss.
A new Instagram video shared by the 52-year-old bride-to-be shows her flashing the large green engagement ring back-on beau Ben Affleck gave her when he popped the question earlier this month. The new bling — a nod to the superstar's "lucky color" — matches the lollipop she's sucking on in the video, which shows her bopping along to the Coi Leray and Nicki Minaj tune "Blick Blick" while riding in a car. A smiling Lopez then zooms in on her glossy pink lips and offers a smooch for the camera.
"Green lollipop kisses," the Marry Me star captioned the post, adding a green heart emoji.
While Affleck, 49, may have been the intended recipient of Lopez's PDA-packed post, it was her fans who went wild, leaving comments like "green is your color."
Indeed, while Affleck went with a pink diamond solitaire for his first proposal back in 2002, he settled on a more auspicious hue for his second shot at love.
"I've realized there are many moments in my life where amazing things happened when I was wearing green," Lopez once explained of her go-to shade in a previous newsletter, according to People. She fittingly also wore a green dress during "date night" last week.
Lopez's post comes on the heels of Affleck's rep denying claims this weekend that he sent Selling Sunset star Emma Hernan a DM via the exclusive dating app Raya shortly before rekindling his romance with his Jersey Girl co-star. According to Affleck's team, he hasn't been an active member for "several years," E! News reports.
Either way, there's no question who has his heart these days. Lopez recently gushed to readers of her "On the JLo" newsletter that Affleck's April 2 proposal was "the most romantic thing I could've ever imagined."
"Saturday night while at my favorite place on earth (in the bubble bath), my beautiful love got on one knee and proposed," she shared. "I was taken totally off guard and just looked in his eyes smiling and crying at the same time trying hard to get my head around the fact that after 20 years this was happening all over again, I was quite literally speechless and he said, 'is that a yes?' I said YES of course that’s a YES."
