International Emmys Sets Vir Das As Host
The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has tapped comedian and Bollywood star Vir Das to host the International Emmy Awards. The 2024 trophy show is set for Monday, November 25 in New York City.
Das returns to the International Emmys as host following his win last year for his most recent Netflix comedy special Landing. He also was nominated in the Comedy category in 2021.

Das is currently on his international Mind Fool tour. He also has created, produced, and starred in series including the ABC spy drama-comedy Whiskey Cavalier, thriller Hasmokh for Netflix, and the travel show Jestination Unknown for Amazon. He starred in Judd Apatow’s Netflix feature The Bubble and is currently developing a single-camera comedy with CBS Studios and Andy Samberg. He is also the lead singer for India’s comedy-rock band Alien Chutney. Das is repped by UTA, Reg Tigerman at Tigerman Management, and Isaac Dunham at Schreck Rose.
