Watch out, Martha—there’s a new lifestyle queen in town, and she comes with a royal pedigree.
Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex kicked off 2025 with a one-two punch of surprises. Yesterday, she broke a nearly five-year-long Instagram hiatus with the debut of the handle @meghan. And today, she’s just announced the debut of her own new Netflix series. With Love, Meghan, set to premiere January 15th, marks her first solo hosting venture since stepping back from royal duties in January of 2020, promising an intimate glimpse into her California life of entertaining, cooking, and creating moments of joy.
The series is filmed in a stunning $8 million farmhouse just miles from Meghan and Harry’s actual Montecito residence. The four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom property, owned by philanthropists Tom and Sherrie Cipolla, serves as the perfect backdrop for Meghan’s lifestyle series.
“I’ve always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it,” Markle says in the trailer. “Surprising people with moments that let them know I was really thinking of them.” Throughout the series, she promises to share “little tips and tricks” while kicking back with an impressive roster of guests.
The star-studded visitor list includes culinary heavyweights like farm-to-table pioneer Alice Waters and celebrated chef Roy Choi, alongside Hollywood friends like Mindy Kaling. Of course, Meghan’s doggie, Guy, and Prince Harry himself make charming cameos, sharing champagne toasts with guests on the sun-drenched patio.
The filming location, nestled on five acres of land, features an open floor plan and abundant windows that flood the space with natural light. In footage shot throughout the elegant farmhouse, we see Meghan in a series of perfectly casual-yet-curated moments: whisking something delectable in the cream-colored kitchen, donning a beekeeper’s suit to tend to hives, and arranging fresh blooms in classic vases.

The Home Has a Luxurious Country Kitchen
The show may feature plenty of A-List talent, but the star of the show must be the perfectly-rustic country kitchen. The Duchess can be seen cheerfully cutting vegetables on butcher block countertops. Behind her, cream-colored Shaker-style cabinetry and a farmhouse-style sink is punctuated with contrasting black hardware and a top-of-the-line Thermador stove and range (a similar model will set you back anywhere between $12,000 and $16,000)
Markle’s serveware includes traditional blue-and-white peony porcelain plates from Earth and Element (“let's not forget about the Instagram-worthy photos you'll be able to take of your delicious meals on these plates!” the Los Angeles brand promises) upon which she places a three-layer Victoria sponge cake for her guest, Mindy Kaling; a shallow cream-colored Le Creuset braiser; and handcrafted wood bowls.
There Are Also Extensive Gardens
In another shot, Markle whimsically meanders through rows of raspberry brambles with a basket in hand. She can also be seen digging up fresh veggies in raised garden beds. “I’m going to share some tips and tricks,” she says on-screen. “I see what color I gravitate to, and everything goes from there.”
The property may also include a bee-keeping set-up, which Markle can be seen scraping honey from.
It’s Set Within a Perfectly Rustic Farmhouse
The house's light beige exterior is Victorian-meets-Farmhouse chic, featuring a front porch, gabled roof, and slatted siding. We also are treated to gorgeous transitional shots of the ocean.
"We're not in the pursuit of perfection, we're in the pursuit of joy," she reminds us in the trailer—though this home might suggest she's achieved both.
