Influencer's mortifying X-rated mistake: 'Most embarrassing thing'

Steph Claire Smith has shared the "most embarrassing thing" that's ever happened to her, with the fitness influencer revealing she's accidentally sent her parents a nude photo of herself before.

Revealing the mortifying moment on her podcast KICpod, Steph had meant to send her now-husband Josh Miller the photo, but somehow managed to send it to both her parents and then later sent it to her co-host Laura Henshaw as well while explaining the situation.

"It's up there with the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to me," she began. "I sent a nude to my mum and dad."

"And then you forwarded it to me!" Laura added with a laugh. "I was like, 'Why are you sending this to me?'"

"The worst part was that mum was like, 'I don't think we needed to see that,'" Steph added, with both girls laughing hysterically. "I'm like, 'Mum, just don't respond!'"

Laura recalled that she went to Steph's house and they were sitting on her bed, trying to figure out what to do, but the photo had already been saved to her parents' phones because they had autosave on for any images they received.

It comes after Steph shared earlier this year that she and Josh, who have been married since November 2019 and welcomed their son Harvey last year, were embarking on a 30-day intimacy challenge.

"So what it is is literally for 30 days straight as a couple you have to be intimate every day," she told Laura on the podcast in August.

"The way we’ve defined it ... is further than kissing but it doesn’t necessarily have to be all the way to sex — if you can read between the lines — because that’s a lot.

"We are tired and there’s dry spells and everything like that but whenever we are intimate it just makes everything else better."

She added that it hasn't been easy, "As much as I sometimes hate to admit that - because sometimes I just can’t be bothered and it’s like ‘no, I don’t want to do it’ — I know that when I really think about it when we are close and intimate like that everything else it better."

"We get along better, we’re just more cuddly throughout the day and we’re nicer to each other and so I think for us was just a bit of a reset.

"I had no idea how it was going to go. It’s been really hard — it’s not easy."

Steph shared that she and Josh had started scheduling in moments to be intimate during the day as sometimes they might have an argument in the evening and not want to continue with the challenge that night.

"In the back of our minds we really want to do this for each other and so you just work through whatever you are working through and then it just happens and you’re in a really good mood before you go to bed."
