MAFS cast fire up over Dom's new spin-off show: 'Jealousy'
The season nine cast of Married At First Sight are divided after Channel Nine released a promo for Domenica Calarco’s new spinoff show on Tuesday.
Titled ‘Dom’s Debrief’, the 9Now exclusive series features the 29-year-old bride calling some of her fellow MAFS participants to “catch up on all the goss” ahead of next season’s premiere.
“Guess who’s back!” she says in the trailer. “Did you miss me?
“It’s Dom from MAFS, and I’m going to be calling a few of my MAFS castmates to see what they’ve been up to. I hope they bloody answer!”
After the reality show’s official Instagram account shared the teaser to coincide with the release of episode one with Selina Chhaur, a number of Dom’s former co-stars shared their thoughts in the comments.

“Your number is blocked hon oops,” Carolina Santos replied. “Devo that I missed it. Chatting to you would be like a dream of mine.”
“But producers don’t favour anyone, right?” Olivia Frazer added, followed by Daniel Holmes who said, “As the old saying goes. ROFL”.
“The number you have called has been disconnected please check the number and try again,” Jackson Lonie wrote.
Abbie Chatfield weighs in
Meanwhile, Dom’s friends from the show left positive comments, including her Sit With Us co-host Ella Ding who said: “Omfg I can’t wait !!!”
“Love this, go girl!” Kate Laidlaw wrote, while Al Perkins simply liked the post.
Radio host and former reality TV star Abbie Chatfield, who has recently sparked a friendship with Dom, also chimed in and showed her support in the comments.
“The jealousy from ex contestants in these comments is so funny,” she said. “Slay Dom.”
Dom later responded to the drama by commenting on The Wash’s Instagram post, saying: “There's 7 weeks of it babes so get ready!”
‘Bulls**t’
Shortly after the trailer was revealed, Dom’s rival Olivia took to her Instagram Story to criticise Channel Nine’s decision to include footage of her.
While Olivia’s face is never explicitly shown, there is a scene included of her confrontation with Dom outside of her apartment where Olivia’s voice can be heard.
“Before anybody suspects that I had anything to do with the new MAFS thing that just dropped, I was not contacted for it, I had nothing to do with it,” she told her followers.
“I know that that promo alludes to some sort of involvement from me. That is misleading and absolutely false… Don’t buy into their thirsty bulls**t.”
Olivia also added a caption to the video, writing: “@mafs stop using me. You guys f**ked me. Don’t even hint at my involvement in your blatant agenda pushing schemes.”
