I'm A Celeb spoiler: Abbie Chatfield 'hooks up' with Ash Williams
They may have got off to an awkward start but sparks have since begun to fly between The Bachelor’s Abbie Chatfield and comedian Ash Williams in the I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! jungle.
And now, an inside source has dropped a huge spoiler, revealing that after all that flirting and sidelong glances around camp the eligible singles have in fact ‘hooked up’.
Ash and Abbie ‘hooked up’
Ash’s podcasting mate and fellow funny man, Ed Kavalee, let the news slip during a chat with Hit Hobart’s Jimmy & Nath on Tuesday while urging the duo to invite Ash onto their show.
“You gotta have my man Ash Williams on right, the foot man, the best feet of 2018,” Ed, who is married to celebrity trainer Tiffiny Hall, said.
“He’s hooked up with that Abbie Chatfield in the jungle, you gotta get him on because he’s Australia’s loosest person,” he added.

Neither Abbie nor Ash have publically commented on their relationship — if there even is one going on — but that hasn’t stopped the speculation.
TV Blackbox claims that the two “became quite the item” during their stint in the Murwillumbah, NSW, bush where the show was forced to relocate due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.
The industry website went on to say that “things continued [between] them after the cameras stopped rolling”.
‘Ridiculous rig’
If nothing else, there’s clearly a physical attraction between Abbie and Ash, with the Bachelor In Paradise star getting caught ogling the Neighbours actor’s fit physique when he waltzed into camp shirtless after a shower.
Abbie, who was mid-conversation with her fellow campers, immediately lost her train of through upon spotting the half-naked man, exclaiming, “Holy sh*t!” before covering her face.
“He's got a ridiculous rig,” she said in a piece-to-camera.
“Like, it genuinely shocked me when I saw it today. And I feel like it needs to be... contained. Look at it! Jesus Christ,” she added.
Awkward encounter
The pair’s first meeting in the I’m A Celebrity premiere episode left viewers cringing as Abbie claimed to have absolutely no idea who comedian Ash Williams was. But Ash then flipped the joke on Abbie asking: “You’re not working here? You’re a contestant?”
Things got even more cringeworthy when he admitted he had ‘slid into her DMs’ — internet slang for sending someone a private message, usually with romantic intentions in mind — only to have Abbie ignore him.
“I think you saw it. It said 'seen'. But it's okay,” Ash said, with Abbie clearly left unsure how to respond. “No, you were busy. You just got off The Bachelor. It's all good,” he added.
