I'm A Celebrity: Frankie Muniz in tears as he shares heartbreaking confession

Frankie Muniz was left in tears as he made a heartbreaking confession about her family on Tuesday night's episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!  

The former child star, now 38, shared how his life as an actor at such a young age affected his family, telling his fellow campmates that he believes his role in Malcolm in the Middle is the reason behind his parents' split.

"Malcolm took us out to LA," he said. "Me and my mum went, but my sister stayed with my dad in North Carolina."

"But my mom and dad ended up getting a divorce during that time. So in that sense, it's kind of sad to think about that it really did separate the family," the actor said, tears welling in his eyes.

"I don't know how much positive it brought to the family. I wasn't a part of the family since I was 11 because that's when I left," he added, saying this was the first time he'd really considered how the show and his fame affected his family.

Fans were quick to share their support for the actor on Instagram, with one user writing, "That was hard to watch. Seeing the tears welling up in Frankie's eyes. To have lived with the guilt of thinking his career destroyed his family. No eleven-year-old should ever feel that."

"I hate that he feels responsible for his parents' divorce," another added.

"It's literally like this is the first time Frankie's had time to think about a lot and say he will be going home, letting his family know he appreciates them," a third added.

"I saw the tears well up in his eyes. Somebody give him a hug," someone else wrote. "What a guy. He has shared so much."
