Yahoo Lifestyle Ilona Maher's ‘Little Twin’ Matches Athlete—Lipstick and All—in Sweet New Video
Ilona Maher's open heart has many fans saying the same thing: that their "inner child = healed."
The beloved rugby star and Dancing With the Stars alum was spotted with a "little twin" in a new video that quickly went viral online, where Maher and the young girl wore matching uniforms and even a matching bright red lip as they walked hand-in-hand through a cinderblock-lined hallway off the field.
Set to Natasha Beddingfield's "Unwritten," the clip found the young girl accompanying Maher alongside other members of the Bristol Bears with young fans or family members, too. She looked up at the athlete—who clearly serves as a source of inspiration for her—with a giant smile on her face, causing Maher to lift her head high with pride.
"Who’s cutting onions 🥹🫶," a TikTok fan account wrote when posting the video to social media on Sunday, Feb. 9, seemingly identifying the girl with Maher as the little sister of user Chloe Robbins Foust.
Fans found it hard to keep it together while watching the brief clip, with one writing, "If you need me I’ll be crying in the corner."
"Oh my God that baby looking up to Ilona 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭," another wrote with crying emojis, while someone else focused on how "Ilona looks so proud to be with her."
One compared her to "a superhero when she looks up," celebrating the "core memory" that the girl was "for sure" making.
"Where do I sign myself up to hold Ilona's hand. 😩😭," another questioned, while someone else admitted, "this healed me in so many ways 🥹❤️🩹."
"Honestly, I'm a 35[-year-old woman] and I think I'd look at Ilona like that. Women are so strong and amazing and I'm so proud," another wrote.
Many also gushed how similar the two looked to one another, with one suggesting that the "little girl could be her daughter."
