In the wake of his split from Deborra-Lee Furness, Hugh Jackman has concerned fans with his latest social post.

Hugh Jackman's fans were concerned after the star shared a 'sad' looking post over the weekend. The Wolverine actor has continued to post to Instagram in the wake of his split from his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, however, fans thought he looked particularly downcast in a series of photos he shared with the caption, "Entirely too close. #moods."

"Looking a little serious there, Hugh," one fan responded, while another asked, "Why so serious, my love?"

"Not a good day?" a third commented.

"You look sad," someone else added.

"We have all been there. Completely get it," another fan wrote. "Hope your day gets better."

However, many others joked that the photos "weren't close enough", with one user commenting, "There is no such thing, as too close to Hugh Jackman."

"Close is good," another quipped, while someone else added, "Still look great though."

Hugh later shared a smiling selfie, with the caption, "Good morning London," with a fan commenting, "Now you're starting to smile. Enjoy the lights of London that let the party atmosphere overcome and brighten your eyes and heart. Have a beautiful Christmas! May the New Year bring more good news always."

Hugh and Deborra-Lee are 'on different pages' after split

Hugh and Deborra-Lee shocked fans when they announced they were splitting up after 27 years of marriage in September, with a source revealing the pair are 'on different pages' following the split.

"Hugh and Deborra-Lee are both on different pages and in separate chapters of their lives," a source told ET. "They felt like it was time to divorce, but they still maintain a happy and cordial friendship."

"They only want the best for one another," the source adds. "They are appreciative of their many years together and children and there is no animosity between them. At the end of the day, it was their collective agreement to go their separate ways and do the healthiest thing for everyone involved."

The insider continued, saying Hugh and Deborra-Lee "want to move forward in the best way and continue to put their family first".

Hugh is reportedly doing well and is "surrounding himself around people that he trusts and loves" and is "looking forward to continued growth in this new chapter and year".
