Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness' surprising post-split move
Hugh and Deb are moving on.
It’s been three months since Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness announced their shocking split to the world and now the exes have made a surprising move pre-Christmas.
Hugh and Deb sent shockwaves through Hollywood when they revealed in September that they would be going their separate ways, with reports saying at the time that they had ‘morphed into roommates’ after COVID-19 lockdowns ‘put a strain on their relationship’.
The 54-year-old Australian Wolverine actor was said to be left ‘devastated’ by the breakdown of his marriage, according to Page Six.
Hugh and Deb's surprising move
The former couple, who were married for 27 years, have now appeared to unfollow each other on Instagram, just days before Christmas.
Hugh is currently only following 32 people on the social media app and his ex-wife Deb isn’t one of them.
Over the past few months, Hugh has posted a stream of content to his account, including videos of himself lifting weights, having drinks with friends and hanging out with his A-list pals.

Sad detail spotted in Hugh's snap
However, last week a sad detail in one of his snaps was spotted by fans after Hugh uploaded an Instagram story of his annual family gingerbread house.
The sweet treat featured snow-covered trees and three presents alongside a sign above the door that read: “The Jackman Family”
“Incredibly intricate and delicious gingerbread,” Hugh captioned the snap.
While the gingerbread house indeed looked incredible, it was noticeably different from last year’s creation which featured all the names of his family members.
'Gut-wrenching' divorce process
It comes after an insider spilled to Us Weekly in October about the ‘gut-wrenching’ divorce process the pair have to go through, saying that they’re planning on ‘splitting their real estate down the middle’.
“Their lives were so interwoven, so it’s an extremely tricky and gut-wrenching process dividing everything up and figuring out who gets what in terms of assets and finances,” the insider said.
When it comes to Hugh’s reported $180 million fortune, the insider claims: “That’s what they need to work out.
“The [divorce] filing will be formalized in due course, but before that happens, their aim is to come to an agreement. They’re determined to [do this] as amicably as possible.”
