Yahoo Lifestyle Hope Valley Races to Help One of Their Own in Exclusive Sneak Peek of the Penultimate Episode of 'When Calls the Heart'
Hearties, we are only an episode away from the Season 12 finale of When Calls the Heart! This week's episode gives me renewed faith in this show and a must-watch episode for Hearties as well as the casual fan.
While there is no official word on Season 13 yet, we can't imagine the show won't get picked up for another season. As we await anxiously, let's look into this week's episode.
In last week's episode, "Through the Valley," as the land dispute around McGinty's (Kevin McNulty) Meadow comes to a head, Georgie (Melissa Gilbert) returns to Hope Valley. Hickam (Ben Rosenbaum) and Mei (Amanda Wong) throw a harvest festival for the town, and Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) helps Emily (Gracyn Shinyei) find her purpose. When Little Jack (Hyland Goodrich) goes missing while playing baseball with other schoolkids, the whole town bands together to look for him. After Nathan (Kevin McGarry) finds him passed out and almost lifeless, Elizabeth is beside herself with fear. She is shocked when Dr. Carter (Andrea Brooks) delivers a diagnosis of diabetes.
Fun Fact: Kevin McNulty, who plays McGinty in last week's episode, played opposite Pascale Hutton for three seasons on the family drama Arctic Air. They played father and daughter bush pilots Mel and Krista Ivarson. The series also starred Adam Beach, John Reardon, and Emilie Ullerup.
In "Having Faith," this season's penultimate episode of When Calls the Heart, Elizabeth grapples with the news of Little Jack's diagnosis. As she and Nathan watch over her ill son, Mei and Hickam race to secure a new potentially life-saving medicine. The kids broadcast a baseball game to help lift Little Jack's spirits.
