Home and Away fans thrilled after two major stars reunite
"Stone the flamin' crows!"
Home and Away fans were delighted to see two of the show's biggest stars reunite for Nova's Backyard Cricket with Fitzy, Wippa, and Kate Ritchie.
The annual charity match boasted an array of familiar famous faces, from Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to cricketer Brett Lee, tennis star Lleyton Hewitt, and singer-songwriter Amy Shark.
But it was the addition of long-running Home and Away star Ray Meagher on the pitch, playing on the same team as Kate Ritchie that had fans nostalgic over a long-awaited Alf Stewart and Sally Fletcher reunion.
"The man, the myth, the legend Ray Meagher gets a standing ovation from @kateritchieofficial and his team after getting some hefty runs in!," the Fitzy, Wippa, and Kate Instagram account captioned a video.
Kate Ritchie also uploaded a happy snap of the pair, alongside Lleyton Hewitt, captioning the post:
"Where to begin my @fitzywippakate #backyardcricket dump? With these two old friends, cricket team recruits and national treasures.. 🏏🏠🇦🇺 Thanks for trusting me to be your skipper today 😉."
