Home and Away's Lynne McGranger left 'shaken-up' after nasty fall

Lynne McGranger who plays Irene Roberts suffered some nasty injuries after a bad fall.

Beloved Home and Away actress Lynne McGranger has shared with fans a shocking fall that left her battered and bruised.

Lynne, who has played Irene Roberts on the Aussie soap for 30 years, took to Instagram to share an injury that occurred when she was walking her daughter and son-in-law's dog.

"One minute walking your daughter and son-in-law's dog with your MOG (mother of the groom), Nek minit you’ve face planted the road," the actress captioned the post.

The before pic shows Lynne enjoying a coffee with her son-in-law's mother, with the after pic showing some nasty grazes on Lynne's face and lip.

Home and Away costars and fans alike were quick to comment on the star's post, sending their well wishes.

"Oh gosh Lynnie!!!! Sending love - I was hoping that was on set makeup 😮 xx," former Home and Away star Sarah Roberts said.

"My Lord!!! Was hoping it was for the show. Rest up Lynne. Ouch!!," Aussie actor Rodger Corser said.

"Aww Lynny ❤️❤️❤️ hope you’re all good!," Johnny Ruffo's partner Tahnee Sims commented.

Showcasing her classic good humour amongst the concern from her costars and fans, she later commented on the post: “I must’ve been shaken up. I made punctuation mistakes 🤣😱🤦‍♀️."

Lynne's friend (and MOG) Annette also commented, jokingly clearing her name.

"And I promise I didn’t trip or push her. Poor love, it wasn’t a good sight. 😽 The asphalt," she said.

While we don't know yet if Home and Away will write Lynne's injury into a storyline for her, one fan couldn't resist leaving a Summer Bay joke.

"I hear there’s some good doctors at Northern District Hospital. All jokes aside I hope both you and the pooch are ok," they said.
