Yahoo Lifestyle Hoda Kotb Delights Fans With 'Exciting' Sneak Peek at Her First Post-'Today' Project: 'This Is Going to Be Good'
Hoda Kotb fans have been wondering about her next steps ever since she announced she was leaving Today—and now it seems former HGTV star Joanna Gaines might be involved.
Both Kotb and Gaines took to Instagram to share a series of photos featuring the two celebs working in an empty office space, starting with an image of them hugging.
"Remember i was talking about repotting," Kotb wrote in the caption. "Gotta take first steps….We have something fun cooking! Come along on the great adventure…..Stay tunedI love @joannagaines."
Commenters were both curious and enthusiastic about the collaboration.

While it's not clear what kind of project Kotb and Gaines are working on together, Kotb teased that her future plans had something to do with "wellness" during a Jan. 6 appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
"So I kind of got hooked in the wellness space, like a couple of years ago," she said. "I started doing stuff that I thought seemed woo woo and weird, and then all of a sudden as I was doing it, I was like, wait, I feel calmer, I feel better. Woo woo makes you feel good."
"So I am starting a wellness app and company that will involved retreats and a podcast and all kinds of things that we can get together, do things that I love," she continued, adding, "And when you are done, it's not like going to Mexico with your girls, which is fun, but this is something that when you leave, you'll go like, oh my gosh, I feel transformed. I feel different. So I'm in the building process of that."
