Nikki Glaser Has A Pretty Good Reason Why She Won't Joke About Blake Lively And Justin Baldoni At The Golden Globes

If you've been gearing up for the 2025 Golden Globes tomorrow night, you probably already know that comedian Nikki Glaser has been tapped as the host for the event.

You're also probably aware of the current legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni regarding allegations around Justin's behavior on the set of It Ends with Us. You can read the latest about that story here.

So, the Golden Globes hosting duties usually involve some pretty rough joke-telling. Sometimes it goes over well — and, in the case of last year's show hosted by Jo Koy, sometimes it very much does not.

Long story short, there's plenty of opportunities to make things worse for yourself if you're the one holding the mic onstage — and it sounds like Nikki is more than aware of that.

In an interview with Yahoo Entertainment, Nikki revealed that Blake and Justin's legal battle is one topic she won't be joking about during the night — and she explained why, too.

Nikki said that the ongoing dispute "is such a hot-button thing right now, that even a mere mention of it will seem like I could be on the wrong side of things, even though I would never be."

Nikki did manage to get a dig in at Justin in her interview as well. "I also don't want to give his name any — I'm mad I even know his name, to be honest with you, so I don't need to say it anymore," she said. Ouch!
