Here's What Your Favorite 'Yellowstone' Actors Took From Set
When the filming of a movie or show concludes, it’s customary for actors to take mementos from their time on set. So, now that Yellowstone has presumably closed its final chapter, it makes sense that the cast would finally reveal their physical takeaways from the show. Luckily for us, the show shared the actors' big reveals on Instagram.
Where Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler) and Luke Grimes (Kayce Dutton) both took home their iconic cowboy hats and signature jackets, Kelly Reilly (Beth Dutton) walked away with a few of her Western-chic dresses, as well as a lighter to remind her of Beth’s feminine and fiery sides.
Meanwhile, Wes Bentley (Jamie Dutton) refrained from bringing anything home. “You know what, I normally would have, and it probably would have been smart to take one of those tailored suits with me, but I kind of had a feeling with Jamie that he’s got such bad energy and vibes all around, and it was such a challenge playing him, and I was doubting I would really want to carry anything with me into my normal life. I’m kind of ready to drop it all,” he revealed.
In a manner fitting of his character, Gil Birmingham (Chief Thomas Rainwater) has a more spiritual takeaway from his time working on Yellowstone. While he joked about the interviewer trying to get him to indict himself, and he ribbed that he walked off with a couple of saddles, he concluded that it all boiled down to interactions with his fellow cast. “I think the most precious thing that I walk away with is the experience with such an amazing group of people and the opportunity to be part of television history, essentially,” he said.
In short, the characters of Yellowstone kept their keeps within reason. That said, Kelly is hopeful that Beth’s Bentley Continental GT Coupe will make its way over to her in the mail.
