Heather Rae and Tarek El Moussa Joke They're 'Not Doing So Good' During Family Trip to Disneyland

The HGTV stars took kids Taylor, Brayden and Tristan to theh theme park during a "104-degree" day on Sept. 5

Even the Happiest Place on Earth gets a little unbearable under certain conditions.

On Friday, Sept. 5, Heather Rae and Tarek El Moussa documented their family visit to Disneyland with their son Tristan, 1, and Tarek's two older kids — Taylor, 13, and Brayden James, 9 — whom he shares with ex-wife Christina Hall

"So we might've picked the hottest day of the year. OK, we picked the hottest day of the year, it's gonna get high of 104 [degrees]," Heather, 36, shared in a video posted to her Instagram Stories. "We're not doing so good."

The family of 5 tried to stay cool with careful ride selections. "We just went on a wet water ride so we're cooling off a little bit," Heather added.

Still, they made the most of the trip and had "such a blast." Heather's Instagram Story featured glimpses of burgers, hand-holding and rides suitable for all three kids. They enjoyed, "private tours with guides, expedited access, precious time spent with loved ones," Heather said.

They vowed to go on some big rides while Tristan took a nap back at their hotel, the Westin Anaheim Resort. That included Heather and Tarek, 43,— who wed in October 2021 — taking Brayden on his first-ever ride on a "loop-de-loop," or "upside down" roller coaster.

But it wasn't all big rides for the El Moussa crew, as Heather also posted a quick video and image of herself and baby Tristan riding The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure as she pointed out different fish and other aquatic sights for the baby.

After the busy day, Heather also posted a video of Tristan playing with a bubble wand back home, along with the caption, "Still feeling the Disneyland magic."

The proud parents also celebrated Brayden's first day of the third grade last week by posing for a snap shared on Tarek's Instagram. As Heather put her hand on he stepson's shoulder, Tarek stood on the other side of him smiling, sharing his well wishes for his son in the photo's caption. Hall also posed for a snap with her son in front of the same balloon set-up.

"How is our little Bray Bray already going into 3rd grade!! 😭 Parents...how is time going so fast!" Tarek wrote. "We gotta slow it down because we absolutely adore this little guy. He’s sweet, charming and full of heart and we couldn’t be more proud!!"

The back-to-school festivities followed "Bray's shark-themed party," which Heather Rae documented on her Instagram Stories last month.
