Harry reveals surprising reason Kate and William never liked Meghan

Prince Harry has once again unleashed on his brother Prince William and sister-in-law Kate Middleton in an explosive new interview with Britain’s ITV.

The Duke of Sussex, whose memoir Spare will officially hit shelves tomorrow after being released early in Spain last week, spoke candidly with longtime friend and journalist Tom Bradby today about his relationship with the couple and claimed they had never liked his wife Meghan Markle due to “stereotyping”.

“I don’t think they were ever expecting me to get into a relationship with someone like Meghan, who had a successful career,” he said.

“American actress, divorced, biracial. There’s lots of different parts to that.”

Harry went on to suggest William and Kate had concerns about Meghan based on what they had read in the British tabloids, which was “causing a barrier to them welcoming her in”.

“A lot of stereotyping happened,” he continued. “You can’t hide from that, especially within my family, newspapers are laid out in every single palace house that is around.

“So, yes, it does create this competition and if you’re the new kid on the block stealing the limelight... Not a limelight you’ve asked to be put in. The British press have decided it for you because it sells newspapers.”

Meghan and Kate’s major blow-up

In his new memoir Spare, Harry shares details about a major blow-up between Kate, William, Meghan and himself.

He reveals in the book that the foursome had a meeting in June 2018 to “relax the atmosphere” between them following their recent wedding, where Kate reportedly made Meghan cry during a bridesmaid dress fitting for Charlotte. However, the afternoon tea seemingly made the rift between the two couples grow even further after Kate and Meghan had an argument.

Harry claims that Kate demanded an apology from Meghan for offending her when she told her that she must have “baby brain because of the hormones”.

While Meghan couldn’t initially recall the comment, she later said: “I remember: you had forgotten something and I said that it didn’t matter, that it was because of pregnancy. Because you just had a child. Because of the hormones’.

According to Harry, Kate replied: “We are not close enough for you to talk about my hormones.”

As Meghan tried to explain that she spoke to all of her friends that way, William called her “rude” and “pointed a finger at her”.

“These things are not done here,” he told her, to which she replied, “If you don't mind, keep your finger out of my face”.

Harry writes: “Meg said that she had never intentionally done anything to offend Kate and that if she had, she begged her to let her know so she could avoid a reoccurrence.”
