Chatting with Yahoo Lifestyle about his enormous success during a brief self-promo tour in Sydney, Harry played a game of ‘Famous Friends’ where he shared stories about his surprising connections to some of the world’s biggest stars.

Justin Bieber

“I love Justin,” he tells us. “I met him a few times now and every time he’s just a sweetheart. He doesn't gain anything out of talking to me or being nice to me, but if he punched me in the face I’d probably be like, ‘Okay cool!’.

“He reached out [to me first]. I think he just wanted to make sure that I was all good because the show kind of happened very quickly and he just wanted to check in because it was really hard dealing with everything at once. And then he would just randomly check in here and there and yeah, he’s just a sweetheart.

“Honestly, he’s the most caring and loving dude, but he just doesn't reply to my texts anymore.”

David Dobrik

“I love David. I usually train at his house, we box pretty much every morning,” he shares.

“David gets a really bad rap and I think that because he's had such positive content and so much fun that as soon as there was something to hold on to that people could trash him, they were trying to. But he, in all honesty, is a very very sweet, loving and caring dude. He’s a sweetheart.”

Addison Rae

“Addison actually used to be my neighbour,” he reveals. “She used to live right beside me. Honestly, such a lovely, caring, very sweet and wholesome person.

“I met her mum and her brothers used to come over and try and steal my dog all the time. So they’d play with him and be like, ‘Oh, can we just have him for the night?’. And I’m like, ‘No, you can't have him, he’s my dog’.

“But the whole family, everyone's really sweet. (Her dad) Monty [Lopez] is in a bit of hot water at the moment and he's spiralling pretty quickly,” he adds with a laugh. “But we love all of them.”

Dixie D’Amelio

“She's so funny because she doesn't really care about too much, but she's such a good person,” he shares. “I was so surprised when she followed me and we hung out and became friends.

“That whole family is just genuinely really good people and they only want the best for everyone.”

Noah Beck

Noah is literally like a Disney kid,” he gushes. “Like, he's so perfect and he's the sweetest dude on the planet, like, so, so lovely. His skin’s always good, he always smells good, he always looks good, and he really cares about his family and his friends. He's just such a sweetheart.

“I don’t think anyone on the planet could say anything bad about him, like he's just a really really good dude, like really great.”

Hailee Steinfeld

Harry recently went viral online after he revealed that he tried to slide into the DMs of pop star and actress Hailee Steinfeld in 2021 but was brutally shut down.

While Harry messaged her a simple ‘Hi’ with two emojis, she was quick to reply ‘nahhhhh’.

“It was really funny,” Harry reflects. “It was over a year ago I messaged her, and she shut me down very quick, which she should’ve.

“We have a lot of mutual friends and I just make sure I don't step over the line, but they said she finds all my stuff funny. But she's very lovely. I love her new song with Anderson .Paak, but yeah, she shut me down very quick and she takes I’m a bit of a d**khead, so it’s awesome.”

Tana Mongeau

“Oh Tana,” he laughs. “She's a handful. We love Tana because she’s Tana, but we’ve had some pretty big stories.

“I don’t know what I can say without her getting angry at me.”

Logan Paul

“Logan is always one of those people that if you text them he will reply and he's just a really really good person and really cares about his team,” he says.

“He also just dreams so big and that gets me inspired because you see his trajectory and what he's done and I'm just like, I can't predict what he's going to do next. It's really refreshing, I think he is someone I look up to.

“Honestly, I really see that guy as like a big brother. When I first went on his podcast he really just checked in and he’s just a sweetheart. He actually asked me to move in, him and Mike [Majlak] on the podcast, and they're just really good guys.

“I actually shot him a really cringe message the other day. I saw his WWE stuff and I was like, ‘Dude, you really inspire me, I'm so proud of you’. Like, all this corny, cheesy s**t. And then he replied like, ‘Thanks for the kind words’.

“I was like, I would have hated this message if I received it. It was so corny! I was just really emotional. I think it's because I was flying back to Australia and I saw his stuff and I was like, ‘Man, this is awesome to see you guys winning’.”

Dillon Passage and Joe Exotic aka Tiger King

“I love Dillon. Dillon is a very very awesome guy, he’s a sweetheart,” he says. “I don't know if he's really made for this world, I think that he kind of just got thrown into it.

“And then obviously Joe. I’m blocked on Instagram, he hates me, he called my manager a ‘piss ant’ and he doesn't like any of us. He really hates me. I would love to meet him, I would love to just get a photo. I’m a huge fan of him but he just hates my guts.”

Harry explains that he first got in touch with Dillon in 2020 after Tiger King had been released on Netflix and just before Too Hot To Handle premiered.

“I saw Dillon and I messaged him and I was like, ‘Hey, I have a Netflix show coming out as well’,” he recalls. “I saw he was trying to post content and he was really struggling, so I messaged him just to check in and I was like, ‘Hey if you need people to just help, let me know. I can tell you you should be posting X amount’ and trying to help him with the social media stuff because he's fully not from this world.

“Then anyway, long story short, he got connected with my manager and he really took him under his wing. They became really really good friends and then they were filming for Tiger King season two.”

Harry went on to share that on his birthday last year, he came out of a 7-Eleven to see a group of black SUVs pulling up.

“I was like, ‘Holy shit, I'm on border security, they’re coming to deport me’,” he says. “I legitimately was like, ‘Oh f**k, I've overstayed my visa, where’s the Channel Seven logo, this is crazy’. And then I see him get out and my manager and they're giggling.

“I was like, ‘What the f**k is going on?’ And they were like, ‘Oh we’re filming Tiger King season two, Dillon wanted to come surprise his friends’. I had actually never met him, my manager just wanted to get me on the show so it was really awesome.”

Chris Hemsworth

Although he’s yet to meet the Thor actor in real life, Harry says that his biggest goal right now is to have a boxing match with Chris Hemsworth.

“Not because I hate him, but because I want to come back to Australia and I want to set a record for the most amount of money fundraised for mental health,” he explains.

“I thought that would be kind of fun to do a big event because obviously boxing is so hot right now, I've seen videos of Chris Hemsworth boxing and I've been boxing for a while.

“I think number one it would be a great fight, number two it would be an even better cause, and to partner up with a juggernaut like that, especially coming back to our home country, and raise awareness and raise a record amount of money, I feel like that's the biggest one.

“So I have to figure out the best way to call them out without insulting them and getting myself in trouble.”
