Grayson Chrisley Reveals Advice About Girls That His Dad Todd Gave Him Before College — But Savannah Doesn't Agree
Savannah Chrisley teased that her father’s advice "isn't always good" as she and Grayson discussed his entrance into the University of Alabama next month
Grayson Chrisley is getting candid about the advice his dad Todd Chrisley gave him as he heads to college at the University of Alabama.
During a conversation with his sister Savannah Chrisley on the Dec. 31 episode of her podcast Unlocked, the siblings discussed the challenges of dating in college.
After Grayson, 18, noted that collegiate girls can be “wild,” his sister responded, “That's what scares me. I see these girls just throw themselves on guys, and they're just willing to give it all up. And I mean, [I’m] not judging, to each their own, whatever works for you.”
However, Grayson admitted that he enjoys the chase, explaining, “I judge because it's like, for I don't know, for most guys, it's fun. But, for me, that's not even fun. It's too easy… you don't have to do anything."
Savannah, 27, then pressed her younger brother, asking, “But if you feel that way, then why do you take girls up on the offer?”
“Well, because of some advice dad gave me,” Grayson admitted as Savannah replied, “Well, his advice isn't always good.”
“Well, I know,” he explained. “But he said, you know, sometimes there's girls you talk to for a night, and there's girls you talk to for the rest of your life. He said some of those will work for a night.”
“But no,” Savannah countered. “My thing is if women are being treated this way, first off, it's our fault if we're just going to give it up and have no self respect for ourselves. It's our fault there.”
The reality star added that she believes that “men can help lead the way,” adding, “It would shake a lot of women if they went to try to sleep with a guy and the guy was like, no, no, no.”
“I’m like what they say about Tiger,” Grayson teased of his own dating habits. “You don't need to pay attention to the amount of accepted. The real number is the amount I've turned down.”
“You'd be surprised,” he added, and his sister responded, “Well, I'm challenging you, though, to lead by example."
Grayson also opened up about feeling anxious as college approaches, telling Savannah: "I get more nervous the closer it gets."
Meanwhile, Savannah — who has served as Grayson's legal guardian as their parents Todd and Julie Chrisley serve time in prison after being convicted in June 2022 of fraud and tax evasion — said she was going through her own set of emotions.
"Trust me, it's gonna be weird for me because I have said I am going I'm already starting to cry. I am going to be an absolute disaster," she said of Grayson going to college. "It's gonna be terrible. Like, I will probably just show up and just I'll come do your laundry. We'll go get lunch. We'll do something because I just can't. ... And so any parents that have had kids go off to college, like, please message me. Tell me how you got through it. Give me tips."
As Grayson prepares to start college next month, he also celebrated another milestone earlier this year.
In May, Savannah shared a sweet message for her younger brother on his 18th birthday, writing in part: "I am so proud of you and the young man that you are becoming @graysonchrisley ❤️"
"Many people look at our situation and think, 'She saved him.' But little do they know… YOU saved ME," she said, referencing their parents' legal woes. "This past year and a half we have spent countless hours talking, crying, and laughing…and I wouldn’t trade a single moment! You have shown up for me and loved me more than most in my life."
