Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny reunited on stage at the SAG Awards and it was a perfect disaster

Nobody panic, but Fox Mulder and Dana Scully were back together on screen once again. The iconic duo of David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson from The X-Files reunited on stage at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday night to present the award for Best Ensemble Cast in a Drama.

It was perfect. The two bantered about what makes a good ensemble cast -- beyond Duchovny's quip that it means you only have to work a few days a week -- and talked chemistry.

Then things went off the rails in the best way as Duchovny attempted to announce the winner before Anderson stopped him to remind her former partner that they hadn't heard the nominees yet.
