Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper Are 'Serious' but Not in a 'Rush' to Get Engaged, Source Says: It 'Would Be a Big Step' (Exclusive)

Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper are not in a rush to head down the aisle.

The actor, 50, and the model, 29, are "serious about each other, but an engagement would be a big step," a source tells PEOPLE exclusively.

"Neither are looking to rush anything, but that’s not to say they’re not very happy together," the insider continues of the couple. The source adds that both Hadid and Cooper's "families spend time together, and so do their kids. It’s very sweet."

As for how Hadid and Cooper influence one another, the insider explains: "Gigi has a free spirit personality and she brings out a fun side of Bradley."

Another source echoes similar sentiments to PEOPLE, stating, "They're very happy. They are busy with work, but also prioritize their relationship and daughters."

Hadid and Cooper were first linked in early October 2023, when they were spotted dining together at Via Carota in New York City's West Village.

A year later, while getting ready backstage at the 2024 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Hadid told Entertainment Tonight that the Maestro star was supporting her while "watching from home."

"He is on dad duty, but so supportive," Hadid added to the outlet at the time.

Cooper was previously in a relationship with Irina Shayk, with whom he shares daughter Lea De Seine. The pair, who began dating in 2015, broke up two years later but remain friends.

Hadid, meanwhile, was previously in a relationship with Zayn Malik, with whom she shares daughter Khai. She and the One Direction alum split in October 2021 after nearly six years of dating. Hadid was linked to Leonardo DiCaprio before her romance with Cooper.
