Just days after announcing her pregnancy, Gabi Grecko has been admitted to hospital with a fractured a rib and collapsed lung following a 'staircase accident'.
The 26-year-old newlywed, broke the news from her hospital bed by posting a photo of her bruised legs, with her worried looking husband, Geoffrey Edelsten, standing at the end of her bed.
"Geoff coming to cheer me up had a staircase accident and fractured a rib and my lung has collapsed," she wrote.

"Pray for me and my family to be. I'm in the trauma centre of Alfred Hospital. I'll try to keep you updated all of my friends on here who really are there for me."
The mum-to-be followed up with two selfies, where she debuted her new short, blonde 'do, but has given no further details on her condition as yet.
"Not the best way I wanted to debut my new hair ;/ but my husband makes me feel beautiful no matter how I feel or look."

The couple have had a busy week after tying the knot in a Vegas-themed wedding in Melbourne on June 11, followed by a pregnancy announcement on June 15.
Following the announcement Gabi and her 72-year-old husband sat down with A Current Affair to discuss the negative reaction they received over the news.
The US-born model broke down during the interview, “They don’t know what’s going on,” she said, wiping away tears.

“They don't want to help. They don't want to make things better. They just want to attack me and I don't want them to attack my baby,” she added.
Gabi, who says she is three or four weeks along, admits she is 'terrified' and worries that the bullying along with a number of ongoing health problems will affect her pregnancy.
"I want all of those wishes and all of those people out there to be positive towards it because I'm already worried you know. I want things to go right," she added.
