Following Geoffrey Edelsten's marriage to Gabi Grecko last week, and subsequent pregnancy announcement, his ex-wife, Brynne Edelsten, has opened up about her marriage to the billionaire businessman.

Speaking to Studio 10 this morning, the 32-year-old, whose divorce has finally cleared, says initially she felt like 'the luckiest woman in the world' to marry Geoffrey, however the reality was that the marriage was 'lonely' and 'very structured'.

"It was a very lonely time. Geoff works every day. It's a 3.30am start it's a 7pm bed time. It was very structured and scheduled, there was never anything spontaneous happening."

She also opened up about the lack of trust that finally caused the pair to divorce in 2014, following claims she caught the 72-year-old cheating on her.

"I think you have to have trust in marriage. We had marriage counselling. My focus was on my marriage. His focus was on other things. I had to choose to put myself first because I was giving myself less than I deserve."

During her marriage, Brynne made no secret of her desire to start a family, so news of Gabi and Geoff's pregnancy will no doubt come as a blow, however she says she wishes them the best.

"A baby is a blessing. I wish them well and a healthy baby."
