Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit's marriage has come to an end.

The Full House actor's wife, Hye Rim Choi, filed to end their marriage in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The divorce petition obtained by PEOPLE cites "irreconcilable differences" as the cause, following five years of marriage.

Tuomy-Wilhoit played Nicky Katsopolis on Full House, one-half of Jesse Katsopolis and Rebecca Donaldson's twin duo on the beloved sitcom. Twin brother Alex was played by Blake's real-life twin, Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit.

The couple part ways with no children born during the relationship and no assets to divide, according to the documents.

Other than his role as Nicky Katsopolis, which he reprised in a cameo on Fuller House in 2016, Tuomy-Wilhoit has done a majority of his work behind the scenes. He has served as a foley mixer on several movies and TV series. Most recently, he worked on World of Warcraft: Dragonflight in 2022.

In a 2019 interview — which came less than two months before he and Choi had married — Tuomy-Wilhoit revealed that he continued to get fan mail into his teenage years for his role on Full House, which came to an end in 1995.

"I've even had people like send me fan mail when I was a teenager saying like, oh this show saved my life, I used to have this really crappy situation and this Full House family became my family and it made me want to live still ... like maybe people really want to be alive and positive."

"I didn't know [it was] impacting people the way that it did and it feels very rewarding that even though it's like one of the more tertiary characters I'm still very proud of to be a part of that show."
