She left last year as Disney merged ABC and Hulu’s unscripted programming teams and underwent layoffs.

Faigus had been with ABC since 2015. She was promoted in 2021, having previously been VP Alternative Series and Specials, taking on a new role that encompassed both the network and the unscripted studio side of the business at Walt Disney Television Alternative. Faigus has worked on shows such as Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Shark Tank, Celebrity Jeopardy!, The $100,000 Pyramid, Holey Moley and The Chase as well as Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Lucky 13 and specials such as The Little Mermaid Live! and The Disney Family Singalong franchise. Prior to ABC, she was at CAA.

At EverWonder, she will be across EverWonder’s full slate of content, with a focus on the production of all live initiatives as well as unscripted entertainment formats. She is based in LA.

Amanda Spain has been named Head of Documentary. She will oversee all documentaries and documentary series. Spain joins from MSNBC Films, where she was VP, Longform Acquisitions and is credited with revitalizing the network’s documentary slate with films such as Paper & Glue by renowned French artist JR and controversial doc Separated, directed by Errol Morris. Before joining the news network, she was Director of Non-Fiction for Blumhouse Television, where she was an executive producer on Pray Away and produced Netflix’s Our Father. She also independently produced Bathtubs Over Broadway and won an Emmy for the documentary Art & Krimes by Krimes. She is based in Los Angeles.

Finally, Malik Johnson, Director of Development for Charles Barkley’s Round Mound Media, will work with Round Mound Media president Marc Perman and EverWonder’s Adler to oversee the projects already in development, including a documentary about Barkley’s life, and expand Round Mound Media’s slate.

EverWonder also produced Netflix’s NFL Christmas Gameday and Torching 2024: A Roast of the Year with Jeff Ross and is producing the Players Era Festival live college basketball tournament on TNT Sports.

“These talented executives all share EverWonder’s passion for ambitious and impactful films, series, and events,” said Mike Antinoro, President of EverWonder Studio. “We are very proud of what we’ve had the opportunity to build with our partners this past year – from live global events to compelling documentaries to new IP and companies – and the creative spirit that each of our new colleagues bring to everything they do is an exciting addition and will allow us to build on those relationships and successes.”
