Americans Taste Test Australian Food

Many Australians would agree America has some weird foods with weird names.

They have bright red chips called Cheetos, highly processed Slim Jims smoky meat sticks and liquid cheese served in a canister like whipped cream called Easy Cheese. Very strange.

But in turn, many Americans would say that Australian food is also gross, totally strange and inedible.

Buzzfeed Australia put their American colleagues to the test and asked them to try some of our favourite foods.

And the verdict was they were... Amazing! Not.

They couldn’t stomach them!

As a reaction to the aftertastes they pull some very interesting faces, which may be a little over the top. Our foods aren't that bad are they?

We’ll let these Americans off seeing it is their first time trying our national foods, and we Aussies understand it take time to acquire the sophisticated palate one needs to truly appreciate them.

However if you are Australian and can’t stomach the black yeasty spread, drink your Milo with hot milk and have never dug your hand deep into a chicken flavoured Smiths chips packet at least once, we’re going to have to question your true blueness.
