A new video by mode.com shows how our food tastes have evolved over generations - and for those living in 1915, let's just say it was less than delectable.

Things get a little better post 1975, when cheese fondue came into fashion (mmm, cheese fondue) but 100 years ago, meat and TWO veg was the primary meal in the family home, followed by chicken and vegetables in 1925.

It might not sound too radical, but fast forward to 2005 and everyone is tucking into sushi. Fast forward again to 2015, and we're all eating kale and quinoa like it's going out of fashion (and it probably will in 10 years).
