Brie Larson's Boyfriend Wrote The Theme Song To One Of Our Favourite Shows Ever

Brie Larson may now be a Best Actress Oscar winner but here's what you didn't know about her seriously cool boyfriend.

If you did a double-take when the 26-year-old thanked her other-half at the Oscars last night, then you weren't alone, as it turns out we all know him from somewhere.

The handsome man is none other than musician Alex Greenwald, who literally wrote the theme tune to our teenage years - The O.C. theme song.

Greenwald is the frontman for the band Phantom Planet, who famously penned the song California which rang out at the start of teen-angst TV series, The O.C.

Since the song was released in 2005 (now we feel very old), the 36-year-old American rocker has produced for some massive bands and will perform at this year's Coachella.

What a catch!
