Farmer Wants A Wife star breaks silence on proposal rumours: 'Pretty quick'

Farmer Todd recently joined Farmer Wants A Wife after coming into the show later than everyone else following the exit of Farmer Dean after he found his match in Teegan.

And while Todd has only been on the show for about a week, rumour has it that he could be set to propose to the woman he chooses. Apparently, the 33-year-old cattle farmer is "extremely loved-up" and a proposal could "fully be on the cards," New Idea reports.

"Todd is a very happy camper right now," the source adds. "Marriage is something he definitely wants."

'Bit of a shock'

However, during an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle, Todd laughed off the claims but didn't give a concrete answer.

"I mean, it's pretty quick if I was gonna propose," he tells us. "Yeah, there was a bit of a joke with the farmers about who was gonna get a dirty knee."

Todd adds, "But, I mean, you'll have to wait and see, might be a bit of a shock there somewhere."

Speaking about his friendship with the other farmers, Todd shares, "I mean, we were all sort of in the experience together, the only ones we could talk to about it with was one another, who knew what we were going through, so it made us pretty close, pretty quick."

He continues, "Me coming in late, the boys accepted me pretty well, and they just treated me like one of the boys straight away."
