Fans Say Taylor Swift Is ‘Connecting Souls’ as Couple Gets Engaged During Eras Tour Show

Another Eras Tour show, another Swiftie engagement! At one of Taylor Swift's recent concerts, a man proposed to his girlfriend during the show—and fans declared that Swift is "connecting souls."

On Saturday, June 15, Swift played her third and final show at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool, England. A video shared via X showed a couple standing toward the back of the floor area near the stage when the engagement went down.

The pop superstar performed her Fearless track "Love Story"—a popular song for proposals—and as Swift sang, "He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said, 'Marry me, Juliet, you never have to be alone,'" he too got down on one knee.

After the woman accepted and he slipped on her engagement ring, they embraced, and he twirled her around before they sweetly kissed.

In the comments, X users reacted to the endearing moment, with one fan writing, "Eyes are leaking,"

Another Swiftie declared, "This song should be officially a global wedding theme."

"They’ll be reminiscing this when their 87 and 89," someone else predicted.

Meanwhile, another fan commented, "Oh wow...this is so lovely. Taylor's concert is already connecting souls."

Swift is on a two-day Eras Tour break before a concert in Cardiff on Tuesday, June 18. After that, she will perform three back-to-back shows in London starting on June 21.

Recently, the "Cruel Summer" songstress acknowledged that her wildly popular Eras Tour will end in December (on Dec. 8 in Vancouver, to be exact). So there is still plenty of time left for even more "Love Story" proposals!
